Founder/Owner (Spin, Power45, Sculpt45, Lift60 Instructor & Personal Trainer)
Hi there! I’m Cayli Rickenbaugh, the founder of Ascension Studio. I’ve always had a love for the outdoors, movement, and building community, and that’s exactly what I wanted to bring to life with this studio. For me, fitness is about finding what feels good—whether that’s through a great workout, a breath of fresh mountain air, or connecting with others on the same path.
At Ascension, I want everyone to feel welcome and supported, no matter where they’re starting from. This is a space to move, grow, and enjoy the journey, whether you’re working one-on-one, in a small group, or as part of a class. My goal is to make fitness fun, approachable, and something you’ll actually look forward to. Let’s explore new challenges, celebrate every bit of progress, and enjoy the ride—together!

Sculpt45 & Spin Instructor
Hi, I’m Sage! Originally from North Dakota, I moved to Montana to be closer to the mountains and all the adventure that comes with them.
My love for fitness started young through competitive sports—especially hockey, which I played through college in Minnesota. That foundation sparked my appreciation for movement in all forms. These days, you’ll find me cycling, strength training, and flowing through mat-based classes as part of my everyday life.
I teach Sculpt45, Power45, and Spin, where I get to blend my passion for music and movement. Expect high vibes, loud beats, and playlists across all genres. If you leave sweaty and smiling, we did it right.
Outside the studio, I’m usually trail running, hiking, skiing, biking, lifting, fishing, or hunting—basically anything that keeps me active in the mountains. You might also catch me coaching the Bozeman Ice Dogs, cooking something up, or hanging with friends at Outlaw Brewery.
For me, fitness is all about community, confidence, and helping you feel your absolute best.

Hi, I’m Allie (or Allison, Al—whatever feels right to you).
Movement, strength, and balanced fitness have always been at the heart of who I am. I’m deeply passionate about helping others connect with their bodies and feel empowered through movement. Over the years, I’ve trained clients, led group fitness classes, taught yoga, and most recently, Pilates. I took a big leap of faith leaving “Corporate America” to align my career with my passion—and I couldn’t be more excited to bring that energy to Ascension!
I earned my BS in Exercise Science from Arizona State University and hold certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and a Balanced Body Pilates Instructor.
I’m a sucker for proper alignment, mindful movement, and the science behind why we do what we do. But don’t worry—it’s never too serious. Having fun is the name of the game!
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me outside—trail running, mountain biking, skiing, or chasing my two yellow labs, Cache and Maverick, with my soon-to-be husband. If it’s active and outdoors in Montana, I’m in!
Let’s move together—we’ll build strength, feel great, and have some laughs along the way.

Power45 & Spin Instructor
Hi! I’m Madi Walsh. I moved to Bozeman from Seattle in February 2024, like many folks here I have a deep love for the outdoors—that’s what fuels my movement, both in and out of the gym. I’ve been a group fitness instructor for the past five years, starting out as a cycling coach (where I also met my best friend!). When she launched her own beat-based strength gym, I was so stoked to follow her and spent over two years coaching there—shoutout to my bodySTRONG fam!
Now, I couldn’t be more excited to join Ascension, plug into this amazing community, and help others build the strength that powers their outdoor adventures. Outside of the gym I’m an avid climber and work for a nonprofit focused on conservation, Access Fund. In my classes, you’ll hear the occasional “y’all,” (I lived in Oklahoma for 10 years), some folky EDM remixes (don’t knock it 'til you try it), and a whole lot of encouragement. Can’t wait to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, I bring a deep-rooted passion for helping women transform their lives through movement, mindset, and nutrition. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, am a certified personal trainer and certified nutritionist, and have earned five specialty certifications.
Throughout my career, I’ve served as a group fitness instructor, head coach at Orangetheory Fitness, and Regional Fitness/Operations Manager at F45. These roles have given me a unique perspective on coaching all fitness levels — but my greatest strength lies in connecting with women who want to feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.
As a mom of three, I know firsthand the challenges of weight loss, hormonal shifts, and finding balance. I've been there — struggling to eat right for my body type and juggling family, fitness, and self-care. That’s why I’m passionate about helping other moms and young women find realistic, sustainable ways to move, nourish, and love their bodies.
My mission is simple: to empower women to understand how their bodies work and give them the tools to create real, lasting results.

Hi! I'm Lindsay, and my love for movement of each and every kind runs deep!
I started connecting the dots between spending time outdoors, being active, and feeling more balanced both physically and emotionally when I was teenager. I've since become completely enamored with the art, science, and endless benefits of movement.
I completed my first 200 hour yoga certification in 2012 and have gone on to train in various modalities that emphasize strength and conditioning, locomotion, joint mobility, and myofascial release. I live for subtle cues that help to make things click, and love offering some of the 'why' behind our physiology and biomechanics.
I believe that each and every day that we're awarded the freedom to move our bodies is a privilege and gift that should be celebrated, and there's nothing that brings me more joy than watching my students and clients walk out the door with more ease and springiness in their step.
I'm honored to be joining the team at Ascension and being a part of this vibrant community of movers!
