Lift60: Strength That Supports Everything

Progressive strength training at Ascension

Why Lift60 at Ascension?

Lift60 is Ascension’s dedicated strength training class designed to help you build real, functional strength that supports your body both inside and outside the gym. Strength training isn’t just about lifting heavier weights. It helps improve posture, support joint health, build muscle, and make everyday movements feel easier and more efficient.

In Lift60, we focus on progressive strength training, which means movements and loads are programmed in a way that allows you to safely build strength over time. Rather than rushing through exercises, we prioritize proper form, controlled movement, and intentional progress so you can continue getting stronger week after week.

Lift60 also complements the other rooms at Ascension. Spin provides a strong cardio workout and improves cardiovascular endurance. Sculpt focuses on lighter resistance, muscular endurance, and smaller stabilizing muscles. Power introduces more explosive and athletic movements. Lift60 balances these classes by slowing things down and focusing on foundational strength through lifts like squats, deadlifts, presses, and rows.

Another thing that makes Lift60 unique is the coaching. Every class is led by certified personal trainers who are there to guide you through the workout, help correct form, and ensure you’re lifting safely and effectively. Whether you’re brand new to strength training or already experienced in the weight room, our coaches are there to support your progress.

If you already love Spin, Sculpt, or Power, adding Lift60 into your weekly routine is a great way to create a more balanced training program. Strength training helps support endurance, prevent injury, and build the kind of strength that carries into everyday life.

If you haven’t tried Lift60 yet, we’d love to see you in class.
