Founder/Owner
Hi there! I’m Cayli Rickenbaugh, the founder of Ascension Studio. I’ve always had a love for the outdoors, movement, and building community, and that’s exactly what I wanted to bring to life with this studio. For me, fitness is about finding what feels good—whether that’s through a great workout, a breath of fresh mountain air, or connecting with others on the same path.
At Ascension, I want everyone to feel welcome and supported, no matter where they’re starting from. This is a space to move, grow, and enjoy the journey, whether you’re working one-on-one, in a small group, or as part of a class. My goal is to make fitness fun, approachable, and something you’ll actually look forward to. Let’s explore new challenges, celebrate every bit of progress, and enjoy the ride—together!

Hello! My name is Kathryn Williams. I am originally from Dallas, TX but moved to Montana because of my love for the outdoors! With a passion for running, hiking, and biking coupled with a passion to move and groove in all ways that serve my body, I am in love with fitness!
My fitness journey stemmed primarily from my younger years in competitive cheerleading, firing my drive for movement. I love all types of workouts, from cardio to heavy lifts and all things in between.
Teaching Group45 is such a fun experience that allows us to connect with the class through music! I enjoy being able to customize playlists with fun songs that get people moving to the beat! It’s also so fun to groove with headphones on, getting into the zone.
Aside from personal fitness, I’ve spent my professional career in many avenues of marketing - some of which include music, fitness, finance, and healthcare. I love working with people to achieve great results! Combining my marketing background with my passion for fitness, I truly enjoy being able to help others on their fitness journeys and inspire them to grow as well.
Looking forward to jamming with you all in the dark room, xoxo

Hi! I’m Madi Walsh. I moved to Bozeman from Seattle in February 2024, like many folks here I have a deep love for the outdoors—that’s what fuels my movement, both in and out of the gym. I’ve been a group fitness instructor for the past five years, starting out as a cycling coach (where I also met my best friend!). When she launched her own beat-based strength gym, I was so stoked to follow her and spent over two years coaching there—shoutout to my bodySTRONG fam!
Now, I couldn’t be more excited to join Ascension, plug into this amazing community, and help others build the strength that powers their outdoor adventures. Outside of the gym I’m an avid climber and work for a nonprofit focused on conservation, Access Fund. In my classes, you’ll hear the occasional “y’all,” (I lived in Oklahoma for 10 years), some folky EDM remixes (don’t knock it 'til you try it), and a whole lot of encouragement. Can’t wait to meet you!

Hi, I’m Allie (or Allison, Al—whatever feels right to you).
Movement, strength, and balanced fitness have always been at the heart of who I am. I’m deeply passionate about helping others connect with their bodies and feel empowered through movement. Over the years, I’ve trained clients, led group fitness classes, taught yoga, and most recently, Pilates. I took a big leap of faith leaving “Corporate America” to align my career with my passion—and I couldn’t be more excited to bring that energy to Ascension!
I earned my BS in Exercise Science from Arizona State University and hold certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and a Balanced Body Pilates Instructor.
I’m a sucker for proper alignment, mindful movement, and the science behind why we do what we do. But don’t worry—it’s never too serious. Having fun is the name of the game!
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me outside—trail running, mountain biking, skiing, or chasing my two yellow labs, Cache and Maverick, with my soon-to-be husband. If it’s active and outdoors in Montana, I’m in!
Let’s move together—we’ll build strength, feel great, and have some laughs along the way.
